On the 13th of October, the first Capitalization Event of ENFEM project, organized by CEIPES, has been held in a meeting space of Moltivolti, a non-profit organization based in a difficult socioeconomic neighborhood of Palermo, Ballarò, that works to create value for the local community.
ENFEM is an AMIF project financed by the European Commission (number: 101038287-ENFEM-AMIF-2020-AG) which aims at providing opportunities for the creation and/or development of local multi-stakeholder networks, in the 10 partner countries, composed of local authorities, market actors, NGOs, TNCs based and women-led organizations. Such network, through a bottom-up approach, is developing local strategies to facilitate women TCNs’ socioeconomic integration through employability and entrepreneurship, and empower their members through knowledge transfer and good practices exchange in addressing integration challenges for Women TCNs, in alignment with the needs of the local societies and its citizens, context and administrative structures of the communities.
During the Capitalization Event, the project and the results reaching so far have been presented to local stakeholders, NGOs representatives and trainers. In fact, to accomplish the goals of the project, the Consortium has already developed training materials, to strengthen the skills of women TCNs as well as local actors
The participants had the chance to have an overview of the project, its contents and the next steps and they showed good interest and active participation.
Participants have been also introduced to the AMIF programme and its specific objectives.
